Exciting news! Adobe has just recently released Photoshop Elements 7 and Costco is continuing their support of scrapbookers by giving us a fantastic deal. We will get Elements 7 for $79.99, which is well below list price. In addition, they have partnered with Linda Sattgast (who we have been recommending as the best teacher of Photoshop) to bundle her CD “Learn Digital Scrapbooking with Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.” This would cost $36.95 to purchase on her web site.
Elements 7 has some new features that you can read about on Costco’s web site. One of the features we’re looking forward to is the “Adobe Smart Brush.” We will be able to improve lighting, add textures, and over 50 sophisticated effects just with the stroke of a brush.
Linda’s CD has 50 video lessons, as well as written instructions for each lesson. It will also include a digital kit of paper and embellishments called “It’s My History,” so that you will have some professionally designed elements to help you put together an album.
If there isn't a Costco near you, you can order it here. If you want to practice, go to Adobe and download a 30 day free trial.
