We all know to back up our files, and none of us do it often enough, but it’s becoming more and more important as we use our digital cameras often, and buy art for digital scrapbooking. Backing up on CD’s or even DVD’s just doesn’t cut it anymore, as we have way too much stuff.
We have a cool recommendation: the Passport hard drive by Western Digital. It comes in many colors and sizes In addition to backing up, they are great for use with laptops, and for transporting files from one computer to another. They are small, have their own case (although you may have to buy it separately, except at Costco), and are just totally GREAT. Most stores carry them (Best Buy, Staples, Costco, etc.) or you can order directly from Western Digital. They frequently come on sale.
You can also store photos on the Internet.
