Free Family Proclamation Templates & Tips

One of our most asked questions is "Where can I get templates to make a Family Proclamation book?" Finally we have an answer, thanks to our friend Jill Means who is a professional graphic artist. She has designed a beautiful set, including some extra pages in alternate styles. Above is a sample page made by Heather McCauley. On the left is the page designed by Jill. On the right is the page with pictures slipped underneath it on another layer. Easy and beautiful!

Jill used to charge for the templates, but now gives them away free through Ann Kerr.  Contact her if you would like a set.  There are two kinds:  (1) .png pages like the one above where you just add a picture.  (2) Photoshop pages that you can change things if you want, i.e. resize a picture, eliminate a picture, change background, etc.

Special note:  Jill says she is willing to send you the templates.  She has a program that can send large files.  Email her at jillmeansdesign@hotmail.com.

We made our book 12x12 and had it printed by Shutterfly. But you can make your book a different size as long as it's square.

This is a slide show of our Photoshop Family Proclamation book. (Not made with templates.) Click on it to see in a larger size.
