Layer Effects

Put a Layer Effect on your photo

I love using the marquee tool! You can do so much with it. It's really great to use it to zero in and emphasize a certain part of your photo.

  • Select the part of your photo you want to emphasize with the marquee tool. Set your feathering to zero.
  • Press Ctrl + J to duplicate your layer selection
  • Choose an effect, like “bevel” under “artwork and effects > special effects > layer styles > bevel”.
  • Double click on the sunshine button on your layer box.
Choose what effect you want you picture to have.
